After our days in Portland, we drove over to visit my brother in Norwich. We went via US-302 W and NH-112 W, which took us up into the White Mountains. The mixed deciduous forest was just getting started with color change as we drove up from Conway.
We made it to our hotel in White River Jct in time to join Paul for a tour of his farm and a delicious dinner.
The next day week toured the area around Norwich, breakfasting at a local favorite, admiring a covered bridge, touring a famous sculpture garden, stopping at a glass blowing studio, and making a spiritual pilgrimage to the King Arthur Flour headquarters.
The next day we finished our visit with a gourmet breakfast at the farmhouse.
