The New Gingko

On Tuesday, I journeyed up to the far NE Heights to catch up with Kenn Greives and pick up a 8' tall Ginkgo that he was not interested in keeping.  We almost bare-rooted it to knock the root ball down to a size that could be managed by the two of us.  I've whacked its top down to 5' already and transplanted it (along with a few golden currants that volunteered in the pot) into one of Caro's fairly large conical red pots.
